I know it's quibbling, but I like to think of that mech as second gen, because of the earlier one ('67 only?) where the cage-rotation stop was not a removable threaded pin, but just an extension off the spring cover, viz: http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Campy/NuovoRecord_67_closeup.html

...which takes nothing away from the nice mech Duncan is auctioning - I'm thinking of bidding on it myself. Don't y'all let that stop you though, if you feel so inclined - go for it.
