When someone hijacked photos of my bike from the CR Website, eBay refused to even cancel the auction. Evidently they only consider the images stolen if they are stolen from another specific eBay auction. But I guess we all know by now that eBay is only interested in collecting their fees. Their weak efforts at fighting fraud and abuse are only to try to avoid government regulation. The best advice is the same as it was in ancient Rome: Caveat Emptor!

Thanks to CR members for bringing this to my attention... I m travelling at the moment and very short of time, could everyone reading this please if they have time try to contact eBay via the "live help" button???

In my opinion eBay is doing very little to fight this, they just occasionally remove an item but never seem to bother to follow up penally.
