Subject: [CR] eBay (Maxicar) scam - auction removed

It appears that the Maxicar auction has now been completely removed from ebay. Hardly seems sufficient.

I'd like to see some criminal prosecution pursued on these bogus auctions. Would be nice to see an offender fined for fraud. Perhaps his name might be also be added to a Federal known mail-fraud offender list... Hell, why not also add him to a list as a suspected channeler of Terrorist funds and have his credit cards and bank accounts frozen. ~ Always nice to have your name on an FBI list.

Realistically, I'm sure eBay could at very least require currently updated identification for an account which has shown no regular recent selling activity. They should require the same verifiable identification checks including back-up info via credit cards and bank accounts - same as if you were setting up a new account with PayPal.

Apologies for the inappropriately voiced rant. But I do hate to have my beloved hobby corrupted by criminal activity.
