Dear Listers,

I picked-up a TA front rack. It's quite small (mini-rack?), chromed and brazed steel designed to bolt to fork crown and cantilever bosses? It has a hanger or something sticking-out the left side about 2". What the heck is this hanger for? Vintage may be 60's.

There was a light that clamped onto that strut. In fact there was a photo of one in a recent VBQ. The rack is designed to fit on Mafac centerpulls, not cantis. It really is a great rack if all you need is a support for a handlebar bag. I used one for years.
