Two years ago, when I got the 1950 Mercian R/P frame, from a fellow CR list member,(Thanks Mike) I was also tempted to keep it, un- built, hang it on the wall to look at,(EYE CANDY) like a piece of art. BUT after going nuts for a few days, BUILD IT I did, and RIDE it I did, many, many miles, WHAT A JOY to RIDE! as many of you at the 2006 LeCirque will attest, not only did it win the BEST BRIT Bike, it went like the clappers on the rides.
