Subject: [CR]looking for prewar wooden rims or wheelset

Trying to help a local guy put his great Grandfather's track bike into "display" condition. (You might remember I posted pics of this rust bucket to the list a few months ago). The rims on the bike are destroyed, so I need either a pair of 36 hole wooden rims or a wheelset. These will be for display only, they do not need to be rideable. The more patina the better as the whole bike is in "farm implement" condition. Also need a suitable leather saddle, again something that would display nice only, with lots of patina (but still the correct shape). The owner of the bike is on a tight budget, so keep that in mind.

If you have something that might work please contact me offlist.

Thanks, Jon Williams
