Thanks to those who emailed off list about my little episode. I forgot to state in the first post that the buyer's reason for disputing the charge was 'failure to deliver'. As I mentioned, this was submitted in minutes, less than five, I'd say, after I had sent him the tracking info. My guess is that he received the info, checked the shipping company's website to confirm that they had the package and set about stealing my money. It's been by far the worst experience I've had with ebay and paypal, and in the end I was happy to get what I got and my faith had been restored for the most part. I'll also echo an earlier post here that I've never had a bad experience with anyone whose name I recognize as a CR'er. many of you have purchased items from me over the past couple of years, and everyone had been terrific to deal with and I've made some great online friends and acquaintances. Just wanted to say thanks for that while I had the 'floor'. If my story sounds familiar to anyone on the list, you know who you are.
