Interestingly enough, I have a 1974 Schwinn Varsity with an Ashtabula crank. It weighed 39 lbs before I put alloy wheels on it. I also have a now complete Stronglight 93 crankset, and was wondering if I could put it on the Schwinn. :) Some people might think that's weird though.
