Yes, that would have happened then but probably not5 in the future... Persons was the long time USA agent for Brooks but that stopped a few months (or longer) ago. I suspect that Persons developed this product line because they were losing Brooks...

I don't know if "new" would apply to a Persons saddle I bought over a year ago. I believe he had just started to import them. Mine was made in India. The rivets were poorly set, and protruded from the leather. Underneath some of the rivets were not completely expanded. I returned the Parsons and exchanged it for a Brooks. Communication was excellent and the adjustment prompt. Nice to do business with. Quality control problems may have been addressed on recent production runs. Would otherwise have been a nice saddle for a few bucks less than a Brooks. George Jones Dallas, TX
