Subject: [CR]Parts Needed/Traded

Dear all, after waxing systematic plus having been able to find the time to take

stock of my herd and its needs, I have made up a list of parts that are

lacking to complete several long-standing projects.

Most of these are hard to find, so I think it might be a good idea to offer spares as trades even if I´d happily buy the needed parts. However, both the wanted and the swapping lists are longish, so the trade parts will have to be asked for. Let it suffice to be said that these parts include things like NOS fifties, sixties and seventies Brooks saddles as well as used ones, a NOS twenties Brown saddle, racing Sturmey hubs, fifties Campag parts, rare wing nuts, 20s and 30s

single brake calipers and other goodies in the same league. These parts

are not for sale but serve the sole purpose of prising open certain parts drawers. Example: There will be an ASC in for the person to offer

a ca. 1900 racing saddle in good condition.

So here is the wanted list. None of the parts need be NOS:

Saddles 1948-ish British racing saddle in good nick one for an 1899 Chicago Crescent racer two for early 1900s racing bikes

Multiple Gearing Either an AF trigger or an AR hub, or a KS(W) c/w periphery Super Champion shift lever, 3sp, with manual de-tensioning facility T(F) quadrant and 30s fulcrum clip

Miscellaneous one set of good quality 30s racing brakes a set of four 30s wing nuts, Reynolds preferred a 30s handlebar extension, British one pr pedals for a 1904 racer, luckily modern British thread,

and for my seventies Dutch Gazelle paced machine the special headclip headset, a Campag Pista chainset with huge chainwheel c/w appropriate b/b bearing.

Thanks for your help,
