I decided to sell my Peugeot PY 10 CP. It is too small for me and ride will not be joyful.

As I have previously written to the CR, I found the bike in Paris through the nephew of a guy who used to be an executive at the Peugeot bicycle division in the mid 1970s. He custom ordered the bike. This bike has NEVER been ridden and is in spectacular condition and comes with its original paperwork and an extra set of Mafac Competition centerpull brakes still sealed in a plastic bag. The bike measures: 57.5 cm c-c with top tube measuring 57 cm. This Peugeot sports specific geometry and silver custom paint instead of the stock colors and design available through Peugeot dealers. Brake levers are beautifully drilled. The crankset (172.5 mm crankarms) is drilled with holes. Saddle is Ideale 2002 in mint condition with a light mark on the rear right. Bernard Thevenet won the 1977 Tour de France riding the same model. The bike and its parts are in mint condition. There is a tiny chip on the seat lug and this is the only thing that keeps me from saying that the bike looks like it was made last Monday. The original tires were gone so I glued on two brand new Veloflex 20 mm Servicio Corse tires. I don't know if the bike was made in 1977 or 1978. Some people say it is a 77 model, some say - 78. There is number 7 engraved on the BB next to the serial number. It is a truly wonderful creation, and finding it in such condition would be as challenging as climbing Mt. Everest without oxygen. I will be auctioning the bike on EBay with a reserve price of $ 2700.00 excluding shipping; this is how much the bike costs me. If anyone of you decided to buy it, the price will be $ 2,500 plus shipping.
