Subject: [CR]WTB circa 1970 Weinmann tubular 36 h rim

Among my many recent Raleigh projects (undermining my image as a Francophile), one of the last taks to finishing a 1969/1970 Raleigh Pro is truing the rear rim. The front trued up OK, but the rear had a bad hop. Trying to pull it out, I broke a couple of the original 15/16 butted spokes, which failed at less than 90 kg tension. I decided to respoke with new DT 14/15 spokes, figuring they could take 110+ kg that might be required to cure the hop.

However, when I detensioned the spokes, I saw the real problem. One area of the rim is noticeable pushed in toward the hub, likely due to hitting a large, deep pothole at high speed. I don't think there is any way I am going to pull this one out with spoke tension.

So, anyone got a circa 1970 Weinmann tubular rim, old label with rainbow bands under the Weinmann logo? This one has spoke holes offset from center, but realistically, I'll take any model Weinmann 36 h tubular rim anyone has to offer.
