Nathan Aschbacher wrote about his Mexican made Windsor, circa 1978:

And then:

"Seeing as how I can get a nice Serotta cross bike for just over $500 used, this Windsor seems like it was a bad value."

Nathan, Please permit me to put in my 2 cents. What you now view as a "bad value" sounds like you really have a Jewel! "..Rides great...stiff laterally, but very comfortable..." Hey man, I've owned maybe 300 hundred bikes, putting LOTS of miles on them and I'll tell ya that I could count the bikes that rode like yours for me on one hand! The Serotta MIGHT ride real nice too. Jeez, what a problem! Two GREAT bikes in your stable. Just try not to think that having one negates the ownership/enjoyment of the other. They don't have to be mutually exclusive even though she's not exactly what you thought she was. She's a nice bike; accept her for it and then ride the living daylights out of her. Many good memories are sure to follow.
