Subject: [CR]ISO French frame geometries for bike geometry project

All,

An IBOB listmember, Dave Mann, is compiling a pretty neat spreadsheet of frame geometries entitled "Bike Geometry Project". It looks to be a good/smart start, but some gaps in data availability exist. Published/print data is great, but many times we can only go by personal measurements. Although the attempt is pretty comprehensive in timeline, there are many CR-topic bikes included, and more needed.

You will see many names we commonly discuss, but Dave is especially looking for any French Motobecane and Peugeot (or other!) data, and I thought some of you could help. You'll see a number of other bikes within CR interests, so feel free to contribute other makes/models you think will flesh out the big picture. We certainly have seen that several marques have been amazingly inconsistent, or intentionally varied, in their geometries. If you find the subject interesting, this will be a great comparison exercise.

The website is

and the downloadable spreadsheet is within. There is also an email address to send contributions.

Enjoy, and thanks for helping.
