Regarding torque.

If I remember correctly, Campagnolo now has a torque spec. for such bolts as the crank to BB axle fixing bolt, (not writing about the new stuff) in Newton meters. Since I cannot exactly remember it I won't guess.

Do note that they did make a tool kit and the pressure required to remove or install would be in concert with the design of the tool, do note that cone wrenches are quite short, and so are the L or T wrench. Do note that their shop level fixed cup tool allows BIG torque application.

There are reference torque applications for a given thread diameter and pitch. But as many fasteners on a bike are not prototypical fastener designs, I would consider them maximums.

I do not know one bike shop mechanic who has NOT destroyed a Huret cable fastening bolt at least once.
