I think the concept of torquing bolts have few applications on bicycles. The only ones I think might apply would be crank bolts, stem bolts, regular axle nuts and possibly derailleur mounting bolts. A Torque wrench was available from Schwinn as an approved tool but I never attended any of the schools so I dont know what it was specified for. As far as hand tightening bolts or fasteners ,studies show over torquing in most cases of hand tightening.
