My former boss and friend Dennis Sparrow spent six months orso as an un paid intern for Geoffrey Butler in 1974-75. He returned with Flying Scot fr ames, Butler, MKM, Roberts and others thatwere sold in the Cyclist shop in Missoula, Montana. Dennis didnot built large amounts of frames, but the one he built for me, I still cherish. He used Columbus SP to build me a tourin gframe. Dennis has gone on to a career as a gunsmith. I worked in that sho p in the summer of 1976 when Bikecentennialwas just down the street and we had thousands of bicycle tourists stop in.We worked 7 days a week that summ er, and other shops in Missoulalike Braxton were also extremely busy.
