Ray, Small world, I had be coming to Anglesey since the late 60's. Benllech in the winter and especially Red Wharf Bay with all the wintering waders is wonderful it's about 8 miles from here. Great place for the kids in Summer. Thanks for correcting the Fontan thing you are absolutely right it's better to get these things correct and I appreciate you pointing it out. So many mistakes are creeping into the history of our sport. Only the other day someone was saying that all the excellent stuff on other makes site from the Hetchins site had been transfered over to some other Mickey Mouse site. Some of the stuff had been deleted by this new site and a lot of the info on it was inaccurate Have heard a few iffy things about this group, arrogant , elitists, snobby and clicky. They all say the Welsh Dragon lot are a great group to ride with and much more friendly. Well it would be being Wales we farm sheep here not follow like them. On a point of accuracy Ken Ryall's shop was in Hounslow on the Staines Road. The A315 London Road changes its name to the Staines Road when it enters Hounslow right by Ken's old shop. It then passes through Felthham or if you really want to be accurate North Feltham and then onto Ashford. Good job I am not a black cabbie would have loved a fare which I could have taken you through Twickenham to get to his shop, would be wonderful these days with all the traffic and lunatic Ken's measures, the meter on my cab would have been ticking over faster than Sean Yates Cateye in a TdeF TT stage! Great info on Ryall's he supplied most of the clubs with their club colour racing jerseys including ours. Mal Rees wasn't far away another great shop.. Next time you are on the Isle go into a Chinese in Amlwch late on a Friday night when all the p---- heads are out and about you will here an order being given in Welsh written in Cantonese and shouted through in English, now that's multi-cultural! The other thing about the Isle is that Tony Oliver built here but you never here mention of him on CR. Why? surely if anyone fails into the category of Classic or KOF it should be him. Best wishes Joe King Anglesey Wales
