Subject: [CR]BIKES FOR THE WORLD - benefit auction on ebay PROTEUS TRACK AND LEMOND ROAD bicycles

Dear CR listees, One of our local non-profits( BIKES FOR THE WORLD) is selling a very on topic locally made PROTEUS TRACK bicycle which Jay Sexton has already mentioned to the list. List member Jill DiMauro is now running PROTEUS BICYCLES of College Park,Maryland where at one time the shop used to make bicycles and published a frame building book, back in the day. I usually do not like to out ongoing auctions but since I was asked and the auction is for a non profit group and it was already outed, please check out the fine Proteus track bicycle, item auction number: 150057625412 and the Lemond road bicycle in a separate auction, item number: 150057577461 Keith Oberg is running the auction,is the founder of Bikes For theWorld. Just remember the dollars spent will go to support a good non-profit group that sends bicycles to third world countries along with new tools and bicycle parts,to help people ride and fix their own bicycles.

Yours truly, Martin O. Walsh in Vienna,Virginia in the U.S.A.
