Subject: [CR]Need help transporting a bike from Veloswap to Socal

If there is anyone that is going to Veloswap that lives in the LA. Long Beach Orange Co. area who might be willing to retrieve a bike please contact me off list. Of course local delivery would not be expected, I will come to your location to pick it up, but this is a fairly nice bike so some care would be required in transporting it. Classic bike content: bike being retrieved is a 67 Bianchi Team bike, the color of the bike is cora,l thought to have been repainted by the factory. The original owner bought the bike in 1969 from American cyclery in San Francisco and as many miss-guided cyclist back in the seventies started "upgrading" the bike w/ newer parts. And I am talking about myself, when I was in college the bike I was riding didn't have anything original except the paint. Anyway the few parts that the original owner has changed are easily replaced, I probably already have them, so I am lucky to get this bike from the son of the original owner. Well more about the bike once I get it, I know it is bad luck to talk about these things before you actually have taken possession.

I would be remiss if I did not give a big thank you to Bob Freitas who located and brokered this deal for me, without his eyes and knowledge this would not have happened, and he had nothing to gain... haven't seen a bill yet

So back to the point if you can help please let me know off list,

Thank you
