I just read Chuck's thoughts on "Pricey Bikes", strangely enough I have been cleaning up my garage this morning( into cars, more than bikes these days) moving around some posters I took pause to glance at a Colnago Oro poster I have. As a rep in Atlantic Canada for Jim Mele out of Toronto at that time I could have purchased an Oro very cheaply.
The TRUTH is.................. it doesn't matter how pretty or expensive the "iron" is, it still comes down to the legs !
I am new to the Classic List, living outside Halifax Nova Scotia, & would be interested in hearing from anyone close by.
I'll write up a profile when I get chance.
