The majority of the Milremo steel cranks, including bothe the standard 3-pin and 5-pin models were made by Ets Haubtmann, in St Etienne, whose own "house-brand" was "SOLIDA" This company is an integral part of the Stronglight company...the owners were called Haubtmann... with the Stronglight brand being reserved for the better quality "racing" accessories and alloy components.

There were some higher quality steel Milremo cranks made, and these were made by the Peyrard company, makers of Nervar cranks, at their factory at St Chamond, just outside St Etienne.
