Badge in the photo linked below recently sold at auction (not to me), very cheaply (EUR 5,55). It appears to be quite old, solid brass, and "Paris" appears at the bottom.

I've seen some emblems marked Valentigney, but don't recall seeing Paris on any. Beautifully cast badge. Any idea of what period these may have been used?
Also, while I'm on the subject, I have an old Peugeot badge made of thin, stamped, highly polished, aluminum. Background is silver, "sky" around the raised relief Lion has a blue "tint" and there's a red band toward the bottom marked "Peugeot" - or I should say "geugeot" since the "P" looks more like a cursive lower case "G". Any date on this one... maybe 1960s?
