It's great to see that a number of you are interested in another jersey!
Plans have been underway, behind the scenes, for a while now.
The first version in 2002 was a sell out. That shipment of 100 jerseys was made for us in Italy via Alex at Vintage Velos, now Smart Wool and it was beautiful
Despite that, we will not go that route this time as the economics have now forced Alex to forego Italian suppliers and he is sourcing his clothing in China. As Seinfield says, "Not that there's anything wrong with that", but Richie and George Hincapie at Hincapie Sports have offered to do them in Italy, again of 100% Merino wool and embroidered for a price similar to that last garment in 2002. I have the Hincapie sweaters and summer weight wool jerseys in my store right now for sale and they are very nice indeed.
Many wanted to have new colors in this latest version (!) so a while ago (6 months, a year?) I made up a large selection of jersey color design variations & asked many Cirque attendees to pick their favorites. A new color combo was selected as a winner by a majority of those who voted.
So now the only question is to figure out how to handle this relatively expensive project. To assist in that, I have prepared a survey (first time I have used this, so cross your fingers!). If you think you want one of these new jerseys, please go here and complete this short survey:
