Hi Crew, have kicked a Bianchi Folgore project into 1st gear by giving strict orders to my paint guru on how the finish should be - and during the inevitable wait to get the frame back, its time to sort out a few components. First of my needs are a pair of nutted style 'dog bone' QR skewer ends for Cambio axels. I will be installing a NOS Vittoria system (thanks Charlie) and have the Cambio axels (axles) to go into the Cambio drop-outs, open C QR levers and the rest of the kit - but not the early 'dog bone'' style ends. Cash, Paypal, trade.....contact me off list. Am working on a 5 decade comparison of frame geometry at the moment. Here are a couple of my findings..... my 1946 Stucchi has geometry similar to my 80s Mexico, my 50s (Ozzie) Malvern Star 5 Star frame being refinshed is only 70% of the weight of my 60s Mod B frame - and thats with a dozen coats of tractor enamel on the 5 Star!
