I have been watching the decal discussions with great interest as I require some off-topic Fondriest decals for a early lugged Columbus frame. In my case, however, its not getting the artwork done as I can produce this myself. My problem is getting the image onto a media (either thin stick-on vinyl or traditional) that will stand the test of time when sealed under laquer. I can, at the minute, produce first rate (by my requirements) decals on my inkjet but know that within a very short period they would fade dramatically if put on a frame. Anyone know of a economic way of producing durable decals economically either by sending the images to a specialist printing firm or, for example, by laser.
