I haven't followed this thread but I would mention that my 1958 Ron Kit catalogue reads:- when ordering mechanisms only please specify 3 or 4 X 1/8 or 4 or 5 X 3/32. A 1956 mag contains an advert. for Cyclo Benelux ten speed gearing. Ray Green, Brighton, England
