Michael: Some wing nuts were made with a greater upslope on the wings to clear. The Steyr bikes had a special wingnut for the RH side that was made for the derailler to clear. I think also Taiwan and others made some similar, too. I'll look and see what I have left (or right) on wingnuts and let you know. The threads didn't always match, so we would tap them out and they would fit like a million bucks, problem solved.
