Rich, that guide is gone,bury it. I would carefully file and sand it off. Buy some guides or make some and 2 part epoxy them on and try to match with touch up paint,untill you decide on a repaint. Then have them brazed on. There's not much pressure on the guides to break them off. Or very carefully file them off not resturbing much paint and use cable clamps. They'll hide most of the damage.
