Isn't 3L the Buffalo? That is more desirable than the Suede and is perhaps the most valuable of the bunch. The suede I believe is number 2 and the 4 is the smooth leather (these numbers all refer to the padded varieties only). Also, there the old logo saddles typically have 2 versions - one with the writing in silver (later) and those with writing in yellow (earlier). But could someone clarify what the L stands for - I think I knew years ago and it fell out of my brain.
