I love it! And, I suppose you could also add red and green alloy spoke nipples for a Christmas Season flavor... and just change to chrome or gold anodized for more formal occasions. ~ Hmmm... I have a lot of old high flange Normandy hub shells with bad bearing races...
Velogear.com used to sell similar objects (chainring clocks & book ends, etc.), but I didn't see them in this year's paper catalogue. Caused a lot of domestic decorating disagreements, perhaps?
