Nah, it's not that important. I posted my query as sort of a challenge to the knowledge base of the CR group. Besides, from looking at the current Strawberry site, it doesn't seem that Andy wants to acknowledge much of his past relationship with Mark. There is absolutely no mention of SRC, Mark Denucci or any relevant company history prior to Strawberry Cyclesport. My recollection was that at the time Mark was the "preferred" frame-builder at Strawberry Racing Cycles. Denucci-built Strawberrys and Bruce Gordons were the bee's knees in Willamette Valley racing back in the day....

Perhaps a call to Andy Newlands at Strawberry would be the simplist solution.

I am recalling a mid-70's Strawberry Racing Cycles frame that I raced in 79-80. It was built in Portland Oregon by Mark Denucci. I remember that the rear dropouts were unusual in that they were similar in dimension to the short 1010B Campy drops, but they had a threaded eyelet drooping inside the triangular opening. I thought it was a very elegant design. The dropouts were unmarked, and I was told at the time they were manufactured by Mavic. I can't find any pictures or mention of them anywhere. Is anyone familiar with the dropouts that I am recalling?
