Can French pedal threads be reliably tapped out and converted to British?
English: 9/16" x 20 TPI (14.29 mm x 1.27)
French: 14 mm x 1.25 (.551" x 20.32 TPI)
The pitch doesn't quite match, hence my emphasis is on reliability. I'm considering this for a rider.
