I met a messenger riding a beautiful Bilenky frame with a fork of a different color. I asked him about it, and he said that he had ridden into the back of a van and bent the original fork. And despite this, he was still riding without a front brake, although his replacement fork was drilled for one!

I see messengers with track stems and deep-drop chrome track bars who never use the drops, but always ride with hands next to the stem. Why not set up the bike more sensibly and comfortably? Because style is the name of the game!
