A freind bought a frame on eBay which listing stated,''THE FRAME IS
STRAIGHT NO DENTS.'' and the front end was wrinkled from a crash. So I
always ask before bidding on an eBay frame or bicycle about the frame or
bicycle and keep the reply to send seller if not has stated in listing
and his reply.
I suggest we need a standard list of ?'s to ask. So here is mine. Add or
subtract to it has you like
1. Any rust on frame if so were and how pentatrating.
2. Any rust on components if so which ones.
3. Rate the frame (bicycle) 1 to 10 with 10 excellent for its age.
4. Is the frame straight with no dents. if not describe were it
occur(s). .
5. Rate the paint finish 1 to 10 with 10 being paints with no blemishes
6. Any other items your aware of needing noting
7. Send photos if possible of any items above that you have a comment

I normally get a reply that honestly answers questions I ask. if not I
am very wary of bidding. If I receive item I have an email from seller
stating condition which could help a lot in resolving any issues if item
received is not has stated in listing and in sellers reply to questions.
NOS and NIB should not need such a list but still wouldn't to ask
anyways,
