I have a large rivet Brooks Professional that I've used since the late 1970s which became lopsided as it became broken in.
Apart from the asthetics it has never caused me any problems (indeed v.comfy) though evidence of perhaps a 'softer' grade of leather being used on my example is the stretching around both the front and rear rivets...
