No. ~ Sorry, I'm afraid that would be just far too easy... Here are the more significant differences between the (aptly described) "p.o.s." lever posts and the "retrofriction".

Post Diameters: ------------------- pos = 9mm

Retro = 8 mm

Post lengths: --------------- pos = 8mm long - and perfectly round out to the tips

Retro = 15mm long - and with two flats - to hold the outer friction ring in place (like a normal Campy, etc) filed out of the last few mm.

And... unfortunately, even the "better" among the Simplex standard friction levers used the same posts as their most wimpy plastic levers.

{ En Francais, would they be referred to as "P. des M." levers? }
