Someone refresh my memory, was it Serotta or another well known frame builder who built the 7-11 "Huffys"? Too bad this episode didn't lead Murray and Huffy to permanently develop a line of quality lightweights, although Huffy did I believe for several years make quality lightweights under the Raleigh USA name. Never owned a Huffy-built Raleigh, but some of them look to be actually pretty nice. Did Raleigh USA disappear in some of the later imfamous Raleigh reorganizations involving Derby et al?

If I recall correctly, the red/white ones were the amateur team bikes used up-to and during the Olympics (when 7-Eleven rode "Murray"). When they went pro, they used the red/white/green "Huffy".
