The title you chose for your last contribution, Ray, sums up the situation perfectly.

I am not in any way whatsoever making any claim to "hold a patent on a part of the English language", but I do hold a copyright on the use of the word bespoke when used as "Bespoke" , as the name/brand of a cycle. The trade n ame is in fact registered.

Your statement "if we cant disagree and indeed be rude to each other, it is a poor show" perplexes me, as I always held it as a mark of a civilised pe rson that he be able to disagree with someone without needing to be r ude. Where does being rude get anyone? Rudeness only begets more rudeness.
