Hi, Chris, All---

You are right that French parts (especially the rando stuff) is getting expensive. In fact, nuttily high. I could build up three NOS '50s British bikes for what I'm paying to build up a '47 constructeur 650B machine with used stuff.

I second what Brian says about selling to the list and add this emphasis----now till Christmas is the WORST time to sell on ebay and the best time to BUY. People are too busy and too broke. I find incredible bargains on ebay on Dec. 24th and 25th because stuff just doesn't get bid on. So if maximizing your dollars on ebay is where it's at, now is not the time of the season....for sell---ing. [Apologies to Rod Argent and the other Zombies.]

After Christmas, when people get their holiday cash gifts and want to spend them, that's the time to sell on the Bay. But why not float the stuff by us....

Cheers,

Peter Jourdain Wet, wet Whitewater Wisconsin US of A
