Interesting that you should say that. Hal was one of the first guys to build with Kirk P's lugs as you can see here <http:// http://www.bikelugs.com/pacentigallery/bielstein_gallery/index.html> If you believe in that "Keeper of the Flame" hooey you should check out the page. I know Hal from the framebuilders list, so maybe that's why I didn't see his post as trolling.

Just because someone's first post is about what to do with a classic frame doesn't mean they're trolling for a sale. I would guess that a majority, maybe as much as 80%, of the new members come to the list because they have something they don't know what to do with and want some help. My guess why 90%+ of the signed on members don't post because they see reactions to newbie posts like Hal's and they don't want to be raked over the coals.
