I bought a slide pull hammer with two width adjustable hooks on it 30 yea rs ago that I planned on using to remove inner cups of campy hubs should I run across that situation. I only used it to remove dust caps, though.
and occasionally other uses. I don't know of another tool, but I am sure the experts on this list will tell you.
