Pretty sure the fork is from a Peugeot U-08 or similar low end model. Not a bad fork for the price, but definitely not 531. The frame decal looks to be the "3 Tube Reenforce", i.e. double butted main tubes, 531 decal.

I assume that is a Peugeot fork based on the logo. I'm also assuming the whole thing is period to this list, but I'm not entirely sure. Frame is made out of some type of Reynolds tubing. Weighs 2320 grams, fork weighs 880 grams. Seat tube 60cm c-c, top tube 59cm c-c. Simplex dropouts. Righty-tighty thread on both sides of bottom bracket (French threading?). Sticker says hand made in France. Interesing color scheme between the two. :) Since the fork is NOS, I'd probably repaint the frame to a more matching color. Not worried about having a completely period authentic bike, but it'd be neat to say I slapped it together completely out of random French parts.
