A tale of 2 bikes My 1981 Bianchi Super Corsa has a low BB(9 1/2 as I recall) and I find it the surest downhill bike I own, it allows me to cut the apex of the turn where ever I wish while my other bikes get thru the turns a little more with a mind of their own. The other bike is more interesting, a 1977 Eisentraut Criterium bike (I think this bike might have 10 3/4). I bought this bike less wheels but carefully measured it before buying . After putting a set of wheels on it I found it had an uncomfortably tall top tube. I took it to Ed Litton to show him and explained I was going to sell it as it was not my size. He carefully explained it was INDEED my size but was configured to be able to pedal thru turns during a Crit. This design went out of style as the clip in pedals came on the scene (Off topic?)

probably my last post before the New Year BOB FREITAS gray MILL VALLEY, CA USA

PS the Eisentraut was built for Mike Schwering ,I know a little about him but if anyone has info let me know
