Yes, the MA2, MA2 argent (soft silver anodized) MA2 hard silver anodized and MA 40 are all the same rim, except for the surface finish.
From what I recall, the only significant difference between the MA2 hard silver and the MA40 is the presence of dye in the anodizing bath.
