Sounds like he's had a couple dissappointing deals with members over the list that he's uncomfortable blaming others for but nevertheless does. This leaves him ruminating over his resentment whenever he reads for-sale posts which is often.

I don't think you should take his email as evidence that CRlist is any more of a marketplace than it should be. It is what it is.
