The Data books (there are four volumes now) and The World of Daniel Rebour use the magazine dates that the drawings appeared in for the parts dates. Usually the dates are pretty reliable but since the date is when the part is shown at the trade show or the TdF it might be a while before the part is actually for sale to the public.
