I should reference my original comments to the first prototype 3V frame that appeared on the masiguy blog site, it had the blue background head tube transfer. the final version with an actual badge is much better.

The transfer set selected for the seat tube provides no graphic device for a panel color break, a choice was made. It does trap it in the 80's for me visually.

Someone wrote that no 3V had fork Masi transfers applied to the front of the blades, the Torelli era 3V's did or at least some did. Paint quality is a hazardous guess when looking over images on the internet, the Jim Allen painted bikes I have look quite good.
