I've just posted new jpgs of a 1973 Hetchins Track Bike, which at first I thought might be an Italia, but after exchanging letters with Flash, the webmaster of http://www.hetchins.org the frames appears to be a totally custom build for the original owner as it has a number of features unusual for a Hetchins. The down tube Hetchins transfer is also one that we've only seen on two or three other Hetchins to date, including the 48 Mass Start that Bruce Robbins sold a few months ago.
The bike needs a bit of correction on parts, as it was most likely a complete Campagnolo set up, but the front brake is now a Shimano 600, the seat is an ugly 90s piece, and the bars are later Cinelli. These will be changed in time. To view this bike on the Wool Jersey Gallery click onto the URL below. After Cirque and as time allows this Summer, I'll be posting better jpgs on the site.
