I didn't see the original post, but maybe this will help: http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/crescent/6.jpg It's a catalog scan that shows the "Ladies Sport Racer 553" model. (Scroll down to see the lady's frame) Alloy rims, lugged frame, 3-piece crank, drop bars. It's not a Pepita Special, but it's kinda sporty. Not orange though!

Then there's the "Ladies Sport 302" model: http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/crescent/5.jpg Alloy rims, welded frame, one-piece crank, upright bars. But it is orange like a Pepita.

I don't know what year the catalog is - anyone? Probably mid '70s.
